Matt Jacobs provides legal and business advice to major studios, production companies and individual producers in connection with the financing, development, production and distribution of film, television and new media projects. He also advises writers, directors, show creators, and other high profile and creative individuals, negotiating deals and contracts and fostering business relationships. Past client projects have included both festival award-winning and Academy Award-nominated films. 

In 2021 Matt opened the firm’s office in Nashville, Tennessee while continuing to represent companies from coast to coast.

Matt received his his law degree from Fordham University School of Law (2004) and his undergraduate degree  from the University of Wisconsin – Madison (1999). 

Matt is admitted to practice law in New York and California and is Practice Pending Admission Status in Tennessee.
